SONY PXW FX9

The Sony PXW-FX9 features a full-frame, oversampled 6K Exmor R CMOS sensor that allows you to capture 4K images with cinematic depth of field. Harness an impressive 15-stop dynamic range, 10-bit 4:2:2 to dual slots with options in UHD p to 60 fps. Future firmware update will allow a staggering 180 fps in HD and output 16-bit raw in 4K or 2K up to 120 fps. Pretty impressive. Make use of the excellent dual native ISO of ISO of 800/4000. This camera which looks very similar to the Venice big brother, has a beautiful cinematic image. Also includes the XDCA-FX9 Extension Unit to add additional I/O and power to your camera,  4-pin XLR DC power input, D-Tap, as well as a 4-pin Hirose DC power outputs to power accessories and other equipment.

Sony's versatile F7S Mark II (PSWFS7MII) offers a variety of options, with 4K DCI, 2K or HD, built in electronic variable NDs, XLR inputs, out of the box 4K up to 60fps. Comes with E-mount, and options for Metabones Canon's EF or PL mount, Add in the optional XDCA Extension Unit and you get 12-bit 4K or 2K Raw output and up to 240fps. It's the most popular camera on the market today for small to large projects. Use together with the A7S II, and Movi for an incredible package.

PANASONIC VARICAM 35

Truly one of the best cameras on the market, with more capabilities than most systems, offering a dual native ISO of 800 and 5000, 4K output, as well as in and external camera color grading. Capture the beautiful Varicam look with 14+ stops of dynamic range,  up to 120 fps in ProRes, audio capture with high frame rates, and the ability to record uncompressed RAW via Codex*. The Varicam 35 is a force to be reckoned with, and very under-appreciated. Glass is catered per project, depending on the look and feel required. I have access to excellent spherical, and anamorphic cinema lenses. That said, he below are immediately available and provide a solid focal range that may be suited for your needs.

ANGÉNIEUX EZ1, 2 KIT (FF & SUPER 35)

The lightweight Angénieux Type EZ T2.0 series features Interchangeable Rear Optics (IRO technology™). Both the 15-40 and 30-90 lenses allow the rear lens group to be exchanged between S35mm (up to 30mm image diagonal), and FF/VistaVision format (up to 46mm image diagonal). The 15-40 T2.0 becomes a 22-60mm T3 and the 30-90 a 45-135mm, allowing you maximum future proof in a fast, gorgeous, versatile lens covering a large focal length variation.
